Shaft Rotar Assembly Machine
In this machine, manufacturing, optimizing efficiency and reducing manpower is key to achieving productivity goals.
This will complete details or you can say a Streamlined workflow for rotor and shaft assembly, where a single worker can efficiently perform multiple operations such as pressing, spot facing, center drilling, drilling, reaming, hole cleaning, pin pressing with hydraulic pressure, and automatic component ejection. Let's delve into each operation in detail and understand how they come together to create an efficient assembly process.
Pressing Operation: The pressing operation plays a crucial role in joining components securely. With the rotor and shaft assembly placed in a press, the worker initiates the operation with a specific load. By applying the designated force, the press ensures a strong bond between the components. it automatically does all the pressing to the particual depth given and stops. after that it also deducts the load and says ok or not ok part.
operator pick the part and put in the 2nd part of the machine fixture in the loading area where the part is automatically clamping is also done. this machine is with Hydraulic rotary table, with each operation is done, it indexing is done and taking the component to the next stage of operation.
Spot Facing Operation: To ensure precise alignment and optimal contact surfaces, the assembly moves to the spot facing machine. The machines carefully positions the assembly in the fixture, setting up the spot facing operation. The machine accurately removes any irregularities from the designated spot, ensuring a smooth and flat surface for subsequent operations. all this is done with the Slide with servo controls with the exact depth of the part.
Center Drilling and Drilling Operation: In the drilling phase, the worker transfers the assembly to a drilling machine. Starting with a center drilling operation, the machines creates a guide for the subsequent drilling process. With the assembly securely in place, the machine drills holes at the desired locations to the depth which is set in the HMI for the particualr operation, facilitating further assembly steps.
Reaming Operation: To achieve higher precision and desired tolerances, the machine proceeds to the reaming operation. Using a suitable reamer size, the worker carefully enlarges and refines the previously drilled holes. This step ensures the holes are accurately sized and removes any imperfections left during drilling.
Hole Cleaning: Maintaining cleanliness is paramount to the integrity of the assembly. The machines employs pneumatic air pressure and appropriate cleaning pressure (compressed air) to remove debris and metal shavings from the drilled and reamed holes. Thorough cleaning guarantees that subsequent steps proceed smoothly and optimizes the performance of the final product.
Pin Pressing with Hydraulic Pressure: The machine moves the assembly to a hydraulic press for the pin pressing operation. Aligning the pin precisely with the cleaned hole, the bowl feeder and the automatic feeding system ensures the activates the hydraulic press to exert the required pressure. The hydraulic press ensures a secure fit between the pin and the assembly, guaranteeing structural integrity and stability.
Automatic Component Ejection: Once the pin pressing is complete, the assembly is transferred to an automated ejection system. The machine ensures proper placement of the assembly in the system, activating the ejection process. This automated mechanism safely and efficiently ejects the completed assembly, reducing manual handling and enhancing productivity.
